Effective January 24, 2008, new fire rules will be implemented for the Ohio fire community.  The Ohio Division of EMS is scheduling several town meetings around the state of Ohio to explain what the new rules mean and answer any questions fire service members may have.  The Division strongly encourages fire departments and organizations to send at least one representative to the meeting nearest them in order to be updated on the new requirements that will be enforced in 2008.  All meetings will start at 10 a.m. unless otherwise specified.  The meetings are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
